Tyler & Company Is pleased to announce an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Revenue Cycle Management for OrthoGeorgia, with six locations in Georgia.
This is a highly visible leadership position that works closely with the CFO, physicians, managed care payer representatives and staff to ensure the best practices, policies and procedures for revenue cycle management align with the goals of the organization. Reporting to the CFO, this Director will ensure efficient operation of the revenue cycle for professional fee and ambulatory surgery facility billing and collections. The RCM Director will directly manage two direct reports and a team of 52 employees who have oversight for the business office and patient access areas. Additional oversight will include healthcare information management.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-respected and growing orthopaedic practice with multiple locations, serve as a vital member of the organization, and continually seek ways to improve and optimize the revenue cycle management process, including patient access and healthcare information systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of revenue cycle management experience in a physician practice setting. The Director must have strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC coding and medical terminology, as well as an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc.). Experience using athenahealth is valuable. The Director must be proficient in using analytical tools to effectively condense large databases into usable and meaningful reports. A bachelor’s degree is required.
