Tyler & Company has been retained for an exciting search for the Chief Executive Officer of Bothwell Regional Health Center.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide visible and effective strategic and administrative direction, and partner with the senior leadership team in the development and implementation of strategies to secure market growth and enhance fiscal strengths. The CEO will work collaboratively to develop strong relationships internally and externally. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO is responsible for the management and supervision of all aspects of BRHC, planning and directing, public relations, budget and finance, human resources, general administrative services and coordination of medical staff activities into quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities as a community-based health care administrative leader, ideally in a rural environment. Experience as a hospital CEO/President is strongly preferred. This executive will have a proven track record of consistently building solid relationships with physicians, board members, staff and community leaders alike. A Master’s degree is preferred, as is an active affiliation with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Bothwell Regional Health Center (BRHC) is profitable and fiercely independent, accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Most Wired Hospitals. With 185 beds and more than $116M in net revenues, the health center employs more than 900 people in 12 different locations. Bothwell has nearly 100 physicians providing state-of-the-art care in more than 20 specialty areas, including a full range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services, including cancer care, emergency services, orthopedics, cardiovascular care, neurodiagnostics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, medical equipment and community outreach and education. Bothwell also operates a network of clinics, outpatient service facilities and rehabilitation therapy.
