I’ve been asked why we chose this slogan for our 35th anniversary.
Actually, it’s the same slogan we had for our 30th anniversary. We tried to find another one, but kept coming back to the “sailing without an anchor” theme. A little explanation for non-sailors is in order.
If you think about it, sailing without an anchor means you really never can come to rest. That is the way it is at Tyler & Company. We never rest. For 35 years, we have never rested on our laurels; we have always tried to be innovative. We always look ahead — never just float idly in the harbor.
So, you ask, why the fouled anchor? Well, the day we started the company, our anchor got fouled and we left it on the bottom as we sailed away.
