We’ve all been there. Sometime in late December/early January, we vow to:
- Lose weight
- Stop smoking
- Drink less
- Swear less
- Take better care of ourselves
According to recent polls all across America, these are our top resolutions.
Been there, done that. Except not; I’ve said a lot of things under the guise of New Year’s Resolutions that I had no intension of sticking to.
Not this year.
This year, I’ve put a positive spin on my resolutions. ’ve decided to buck tradition (and fad). This year, I will:
- Drink more (champagne and water, though not necessarily in that order).
- Show more kindness to others (not an easy thing for a sarcastic personality sort).
- Watch at least two shows on the Hitler Channel with my husband (the station may be listed in your cable guide as the History Channel, but trust me ...).
There, you have it. Now that I’ve gone public with my resolutions for 2008, I’d like to hear yours.
