AUSTIN – The Texas Hospital Association and its marketing subsidiary,HealthSHARE, are pleased to announce the addition of executive search firm Tyler & Company as a preferred vendor.

Identifying, interviewing and hiring top talent for key positions in the healthcare industry is as much an art as it is a science. While some hospitals do very well at conducting high-level searches internally, others for a variety of reasons prefer to outsource this human resources endeavor to a firm they can trust.

“With 30 years of experience in executive healthcare search, Tyler & Company passed THA’s rigorous selection process by offering the breadth and depth that hospitals come to expect from a retained human resources partner,” said Jim Dixon, president/CEO of HealthShare. “Tyler & Company’s prior work in Texas in support of THA via leadership councils and the executive networking group, and its delivery of quality search engagements in the state, were consistent with the firm’s highly positive reputation.”

Additionally, one of Tyler & Company’s four offices is based in Austin, strengthening the firm’s commitment to understanding the Texas market and healthcare challenges in the state. Under the preferred vendor relationship, Texas hospitals will have access to Tyler & Company’s full-service executive search expertise, including screenings, consultant interviews, reference checks, background checks and 360-degree, post-placement assessments of candidates.

“Tyler & Company is especially proud to have been named the THA-endorsed executive search firm,” said J. Larry Tyler, FACHE, FAAHC, FHFMA, CMPE, president and CEO of Tyler & Company. “Although we’ve done more than 2,000 hospital executive searches throughout the years, we tailor our searches to benefit our clients. No situation or organization is entirely the same, and we owe it to our partners to deliver the best we can. That is the art of executive search, and having the tools is our science.”

The company guarantees its work and as a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, abides by the AESC code of ethics.

“We’ve developed strong ties with hospitals in Texas over the years and are proud of our affiliation with THA,” said Nelson Mann, senior vice president of Tyler & Company’s Texas office. “With this endorsement, our relationship with THA has gone to the next level, and we are humbled. Building personal relationships and delivering quality service are why our clients – fellow Texans – are among our best references.”
