ATLANTA – Glenn G. Anderson, Jr. has joined Tyler & Company as Senior Vice President. In this role, Anderson will serve as Managing Director of the firm’s Signium Division, directing all non-healthcare related executive searches for its five offices around the country. In addition to running the firm’s Cleveland office, Anderson will spearhead efforts to strengthen Tyler & Company’s presence in the healthcare, life science and biotechnology sectors in Cleveland and surrounding areas.

Anderson brings more than 15 years of experience in executive search, and he has honed his skills working for companies such as TMP Worldwide and LAI Worldwide. His specific area of executive search expertise is finding the right C-suite and senior-level executives for positions in the industrial and financial service sectors, including private equity-backed and privately held companies. Anderson was named “One of the Top 150 Most Influential Headhunters in the World” by BusinessWeek magazine in 2008.

“I’m excited about this new opportunity to combine forces with Tyler & Company,” says Anderson. “This will allow the firm to expand beyond its traditional healthcare provider business to include a variety of other specialty practice services. In addition, I’m looking forward to having a Tyler & Company office in Cleveland where there exists significant opportunities in the healthcare, life sciences and biotech arenas.”

Prior to entering the executive search industry, Anderson was president of an industrial manufacturing company, and had spent almost a decade in human resources, benefits and compensation consulting. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Western Reserve Historical Society, and is a trustee of the Suicide Prevention Education Alliance. Additionally, Anderson is a member of Business Volunteers Unlimited and the Weatherhead School of Management Alumni Advisory Group. He is often tapped to speak on the topics of leadership and executive recruiting at industry forums nationwide.

"Our joining with Signium International has created a wonderful opportunity for our firm to branch outside of our traditional search areas as well as acquire one of the best search consultants to help us in this endeavor,” says J. Larry Tyler, FACHE, FAAHC, FHFMA, CMPE, chairman and CEO. “Our prior association with Glenn has been, through Signium, extraordinarily satisfying. His joining our firm means that we are welcoming a friend, and not a stranger.”

Anderson has served on the board of Signuim International as the Speaker for the Americas’ Region, and as Chief Financial Officer. Tyler & Company became a shareholder of Signium, a consortium of executive search firms with more than 40 offices in 25-plus countries, in 2008. Through this relationship, the company has been able to widen its range of executive searches both domestically and internationally, offering clients executive candidates drawn from a global pool of talent.

Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, and a master’s degree in business administration from Weatherhead School of Management Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
