Our Diversity Practice

Practice Leader:  Nelson Mann

Tyler & Company has a longstanding commitment to provide our clients with a diverse candidate slate. We have strong relationships with The Institute for DiversityThe National Association of Health Service Executives (NAHSE), and the Association of Hispanic Health Executives. All of our openings are posted on the NAHSE and Diversity Connection Web sites, and our objective is to interview at least one diversity candidate on every search we conduct. As a result, we hold an excellent track record for placing diverse healthcare executives in top positions and remain committed to enhancing our process for successful recruitment in this area.

Larry Tyler, our CEO, is our Chief Diversity Officer and is responsible for ensuring that diversity is emphasized and promoted throughout the firm. Tyler & Company has also begun to offer candidates the opportunity to voluntarily disclose their ethnic background so that we can track our success in this aspect of diversity placements.

Our Statement of Policy on Diversity Recruitment is attached to each proposal we send to our clients.

Candidate Testimonial

“My search experience with Tyler & Company was seamless from start to finish.  From the first phone call I received from Hallie Banker, to my first interview with Stephanie Underwood, to my arrival in Philadelphia at The Children's Hospital, I knew what to expect every step of the way.  Tyler & Company was very knowledgeable about the organization and coached me every step of the way.  They took the time up-front to get to know me and understand what I needed for my family and me to make such a major life decision.  I am 18 months into my new position as Director of Diversity & Inclusion Programs.  The job is a perfect fit for my background, and I'm continuing to grow within my profession.  Thank you Tyler & Company!”
