Quality Assurance Data
Continuous Quality Improvement
Tyler & Company is dedicated to being the best healthcare search firm in the nation. In order to ensure that we are continually improving, we have developed a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program that allows us to monitor our service to our clients and candidates. Part of this program includes feedback in the form of quality assurance calls during the search to clients. This enables us to check on the status of our searches and answer any concerns.
The CQI program also includes questionnaires to both the client contacts and each candidate presented after a search is closed. We welcome candid, honest comments from clients and candidates regarding our consultants, research associates, billing, scheduling, and overall rating of Tyler & Company. These comments are important to us so that we may deliver the very best search process possible.
The results obtained from these questionnaires tell us that nearly 100% of our clients would recommend us to business associates for future searches.
Tyler & Company follows the guidelines of the Association of Executive Search Consultants in dealing with our clients and candidates. Our consultants and researchers review and renew their commitment to AESC’s Code of Ethics each year to ensure they are doing all they can to provide professional, quality searches.
Client Questionnaire Scores
The data contained on these pages were compiled for Tyler & Company by National Research Corporation (NRC Picker), one of the oldest and largest research firms, and one that has a worldwide presence. NRC was the first to dedicate its full efforts to the healthcare performance measurement industry. Tyler & Company challenges all executive search firms to measure client and candidate satisfaction through an independent third party and to display the results.
Our Completion Rate
Occasionally, we are asked about our completion rate. This is an interesting statistic to try to glean from a search firm as there is no consistent standard to determine the rate. Additionally, the numbers are self reported. That is, there is no independent body, like an auditor, verifying the rate. So, the search firm can report whatever it wants. The following is our definition of completion:
Successful with hire: The is self explanatory. We completed the assignment and someone was hired.
Successful without hire: The client either cancelled the search or reorganized. Or, something else happened. No one was hired, and the client did not blame us.
Unsuccessful: We tried and tried. We had candidates, but for whatever reason, no hire was made.
For five years, 2005 to 2009, we conducted 292 searches. Following are our results:
We think this is a good number, but we have no way to compare. We know of only one other search firm, CTPartners, which posts its placement rate. Its Web site reflected January 2010 that it had a 78% record.
