Dennis J. Kain, FACHE, Philadelphia Office
Dennis J. Kain joined Tyler & Company in 2000 and was named President in March 2009. His career spans more than 30 years and includes leadership experience in healthcare operations and national consulting. Dennis has conducted senior executive and physician executive searches for large health networks, academic medical centers and community hospitals across the country.
Dennis is well known among his healthcare colleagues. He is a long-standing member and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and served as the ACHE Regent for Eastern Pennsylvania. He is a former member of the American Hospital Association, for which he served as an alternate to the Regional Policy Board. Dennis has been a frequent speaker to such groups as the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Medical Group Management Association.
Dennis was the first recipient of the Greater Philadelphia Health Assembly’s Administrative Achievement Award. He also has led numerous civic and community efforts and is past chairman in the Health Services Management and Policy Alumni Association of The George Washington University.
Prior to joining Tyler & Company, Dennis was a vice president and principal for Longshore + Simmons, a regional retained healthcare search firm. Before that, he served as a hospital CEO, a vice president of a publicly-traded healthcare management company, and a member of the Board of Directors of a national marketing company.
Dennis resides in his home state of New Jersey.
